Another Memorable Birthday 29th April 2009
By Jacklyn | May 3, 2009
I always see my birthday as one of the most important day in my life. It is on this day, I took the first breath of life…
Since young, I look forward to every birthday (29th April). To what I can remember, I celebrated all my birthdays, either with family, with that special someone, friends or even just myself. I wonder do other people do this… I buy birthday present for myself every year! Presents ranging from soft toys to car and my present house (I mean signing the contract on that day).
Since year 2001, 29th April marks another special meaning to me. The person I loved most, my grandmother, whom I grew up with since I was 3 years old, left us… It took me a while to accept this hash fact, till I started to see it from another perspective that granny is now also celebrating her birthday on 29th April every year! It’s just that she rejoices in heaven and I have fun here on earth.
29th April 2009… Pictures speak louder than words, right? Here..
It started with this surprise… my favourite roses!
We had one of the most spread wonderful lunch at The Line, Shangri La Hotel, followed with a birthday cake! There… I made my birthday wish…. “Shiiii…. secret”
How can we miss out this memorable shot at the entrance of The Line.
One more last shot taken with mom at hotel lobby before leaving Shangri La Hotel to KaraOke.
Do you know all these beautiful singers? We have (from left) Sandy, Jenny, Jacklyn, Mummy, Lois and Xinyi.
And here’s our 2 handsome men. Roger and Mike.
By 7pm, all of us were well prepared for our business event, Excellence Network’s OPP at Park Royal Hotel. Another surprise came when I was invited to stage and all business partners, friends and guests sang me the birthday songs!
More birthday wishes from my business associates and these 3 handsome partners Jimmy, Robin and Richard..
The last surprise of the day… a beautifully hand-made peacock from Excellence Network! Take a close look… it’s all made from our E.Excel products wrapper! It’s not just a birthday gift, not just a proud beautiful peacock… it’s a symbol of passion, teamwork, abundance and love…
Thank you everyone that has made my day so special. Your love, wishes, blessings, positive energy are deeply felt and they’re going to warm my heart and drive my soul to the next level I can be. I pray that God will bless all great friends that have sent their love and blessings to me through all media.. face to face, hugs, telephone calls, sms, msn, skype, emails, facebook and myspace. My heart goes out to you with gratitude.. I love you…

Hi Jacklyn, we are experiencing health problems. Our son was diagnosed in primogenito, linfandenite, and will have to do surgery, followed 3 sessions of chemotherapy.
But, i take this opportunity, albeit late to send you our good wishes and many years of life

Oh Adao, so sorry to hear that. I believe strongly in non-medicinal herbal nutrition. You may want to look for some extra help besides the surgery and chemo.
In fact, I’m typing this from my hospital bed. Though I’ve walked through my journey of medical struggle, there are still many challenges waiting for me to face. It’s just that I’m in a a more capable position to continue enjoy my life and impact other people’s life.
It’s so kind of you to remember sending good birthday wishes despite your present situation. I will keep your family in my nightly prayer.
God Bless..

Happy birthday! Your birthday is on the same date as my dad, who incidentally, also celebrated his birthday at the Line Shangri-La. Its a pity I couldn’t be there too as I am holed here in Melbourne. Have always enjoyed that restaurant and its jaw dropping selection of fine foods!

I always try to look at things from the customer’s point of view, and from that perspective, I may say that anyone who tell that your post is not great and very informative is wrong. Thanks for putting all this together.
