The SMART Seminar
By Jacklyn | November 24, 2008

At last, I settled down to enjoy more of the SMART seminar photos. It does brings me back to the wonderful time I had in Kuala Lumpur, moving around together with the speakers’ team. Eating, shopping and drinking together… When I read about them from the internet and see their photos before meeting them personally, I always wonder what kind of lifestyle these millionaire gurus live. Do they sit right in front of their computers all day long? Are they themselves another ‘computer’? How hard they have worked to be who they are today? Proud? Friendly??
Well, after a few days of interaction with them, they have convinced me how friendly, warm, caring and genuine they are. They enjoy life as much as anyone else, if not, even more. It is truly what this statement mean: It is who you must become first, before earning those millions you desire.
Does successful people really work that hard? I guess so. But working hard alone will not lead to success. What I see in them is really the right name chosen for this event – SMART! Though the name S.M.A.R.T represent Systems, Marketing, Alliances, Revenue and Traffic (the main fundamental elements for an internet business success), I bet thinking and working in the smart way will definitely bring us faster and closer to our online success.
I think one of the fastest way to reach our online success is through mentoring or coaching programs. Have you sign up any program offered by this spectrum of successful speakers? Most of them flew many hours to reach us here! One of my friend has signed up 3 coaching programs and is still considering the 4th one! My SuccessNetworkingTeam has signed up 3 programs (I got to know only after my return from my training camp!).
Congratulations to all who has taken the first step (or another step, for some) to our online success! If you’ve missed this year’s SMART seminar, too bad. Make sure you get yourself a ticket for SMART 2009. The end of the SMART seminar 2008 only means that it is the beginning of our plans with massive actions. I believe with the correct attitude and commitment to our own success, many will bcome the testimonial stories of SMART 2009!
Here are some of my proud photos with these outstanding successful speakers.

First Light
By Jacklyn | November 23, 2008
Have you catch the latest play by Toy Factory Productions Ltd ~”First Light”~ at The Esplanade?
E.Excel Singapore being one of the premium sponsors of the play, invited all E.Excel Ambassadors and committee members to enjoy this play after our new product launch today. All of us were carrying high spirit after our beloved founder and president, Dr. Chen, shared with us her new research on Nutritional Immunology.
Back to “First Light”. The whole play takes about 1 hour 40 mins. Throughout the whole show, I was fully captured by the story and the performers. Plenty of humour along the way and yet I teared a few times on different scenes. A play I would strongly recommend if you cannot answer this question at this moment of your life: “What is the most significant moment in your life?”…
Synopsis: If all the world’s a stage, what scene of your life would you offer as a last encore?
Trapped in a limbo between existences, seven deceased Singaporean are reading their own obituaries. A postman, a teacher, a grassroot leader, a businesswoman, an actress, a taxi driver and his wife – seven elderly strangers with little in common in Life, now find themselves together as they face the greatest adventure of their lives ~ DEATH. Before this wait is over, they must each revisit, relive, re-enact the most significant moment in their life. Only then can they move on.
At turns funny and profoundly-moving, “First Light” is a thought-provoking new devised play that invites you to step beyond the veil to discover how sometimes, it is only after death that you really begin to live.

Learn NLP: Character Instead Of Cash
By Jacklyn | November 22, 2008
Article by Stuart Tan ~ Licensed NLP Trainer
Do you desire financial freedom and fame? If you do, I have news for you. NLP can help you model after those successes! However, you might have a lot of catching up the, not just in financial success, but also in terms of knowing where you are where you ought to go. If you’re one of those people who have great financial success, but are complete jerks, don’t read this. I have people whom I care about whom I want to succeed, not you.
So guys… you want success. Yet, some people have great financial success but are these blamers, whiners and complainers. They are rich in cash, but poor in character. Somehow, these morons seem to get away with it, don’t they? It seems somewhat unfair, that they have it and you don’t.
If you are hardworking, honest, and have a sense of responsibility in the things that you do, all it takes is a little fire and passion and drive you toward greater success. I think these are the things that are necessary for you to forge ahead and build any kind of success that you want. But you must be willing to take the hits.
The worst thing that can happen for you is that you ONLY take credit for everything that goes right, and fail to improve from the things that don’t go right. Take responsibility. When I mean responsibility, I’m really talking about the ability to take charge of one’s own decisions, instead of blaming someone else and making excuses. If you don’t achieve something, for heaven’s sake don’t blame anyone else for it.
You need to learn this. Responsibility is one of the most important key facets in NLP. I found that accepting responsibility actually allows yo to develop a greater sense of learning through feedback.
So, if you’re not wealthy yet, take responsibility!
If you don’t have a great family yet, take responsibility!
If people don’t like you yet, take responsibility!
If you were made bankrupt… (the list goes on, by the way)
Learn something from it.
Once you take a look inside yourself instead of outside of yourself and looking for something to blame, you’ll find that there’s a lot more that you can do to grow as a human being. You become more fulfilled, and experience a greater sense of lightness so that things get better in all aspects of your life.
The basic strategy for taking responsibility is to observe all comments, a visual stimulus, or any other form of sensory feedback and process that by asking the question: “what could I do to improve this?”
The moment you ask this question, it presumes that you already have a clear enough outcome. For most people, the outcome is unclear. You definitely want to have some clarity of your outcomes in order to know how to exactly improve. Once you’re there, you can activate resources that lead you to where it is that you need to go.
I certainly hope that you focus on character instead of cash, wisdom instead of fame, integrity instead of blame. I know that once you’re there, it will definitely help you to make yourself as cash rich and famous as you choose to be.

POE Whoosh 26 Module 2 Completed
By Jacklyn | November 5, 2008
Though POE (Patterns of Excellence) Whoosh 26 Module 2 came to an end, it actually marks a new beginning for all participants and also the coaches. As Adam said “You want to attend POE Module 3?… That’s life!”. How true! It is time to apply what we have learnt into real life and that will drive us to the ultimate outcome we have been looking for in our life, isn’t it?

Though I have been coming back to coach POE for many rounds, I still learn new things in every POE. It’s a continous learning from Stuart Tan, Adam Khoo, Pete, coaches and the participants. There is always something for me to take away. On top of that, I see POE as an opportunity for me to develop my coaching skills, which is very helpful to me and people whom I am blessed to connect with.
Being a strong believer in personal development, I see neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and life coaching as one of my platform to grow as a person and empowering others at the same time. Though both master trainers (Adam & Stuart), coaches and participants are physically stretch during the program, I believe all of us are empowered many more times emotionally and mentally.
I’d like to congratulate all participants that have completed your full POE program,, as well as all new coaches who have started your coaching journey with us. As I always promise… Coaching is FUN!!!

Coaching POE Whoosh 26
By Jacklyn | October 28, 2008
Before I blog about POE (Patterns of Excellence) Whoosh 26 Module 1, tomorrow comes the Whoosh 26 Module 2! How fast time can pass, with me still lingering on with the joy of learning together with all fellow coaches… coaching participants who are hungry for thier growth… and the satisfaction of contributing back to universe for what has been given to me… And one more important thing is the memorable FUN time we have together.

Thinking back to the time when I was a participant, my reflection (of course with the help of the trainers and coaches) has lead me to open up so many more possibilities in my life. I must say that my life has moved on to my next level since.
Now, I can see the changes in my cousin, Xinyi, after she graduated from Whoosh 26 Mod 1 on 5th Oct 2008. She is looking forward eagerly to her Module 2 tomorrow..
Involving in coaching POE has enriched my life tremendouly as I started to pick up even more NLP skills to better manage myself (especially my daily emotional state). On top of that, I am able to coach many of my network marketing business partners in the persuit of their personal and financial success. I’m feeling happier everyday as I’m becoming more and more grateful to all things that happen in my life.
Special thanks to Stuart Tan, Adam Khoo, Pete, Rachit, Wei Ping, Jayson and all coaches of POE!

Affirmations: How do they affect you?
By Jacklyn | October 28, 2008
Stuart was teaching a short session on the Power of Belief and Affirmations to my team of business partners on ustream just a while ago, and I think it’s really powerful stuff that can help many people. Please read on…
By Stuart Tan ~ NLP Master Trainer
I suppose you might have heard of the “Law Of Attraction” and stuff like that. My opinion? It basically boils back down to your thinking… which reminds me of the power of affirmation.
An affirmation, in my view from NLP, is an internal sound. Depending on the emotional state that it generates, the internal experience of an inner sound (test this out – say something like ‘yay!’ as if you said it out loud in a room, but keep that silent in your mind, sending the sensation all through your body). If you said it right, you might probably feel lots of tingling sensations in your body. It’s like a time you wanted to shout out in joy, but you were not allowed to make loud noises.
In contrast, a negative thought sends similar ripples of feelings through your body. What this can do is reduce energy and build up tension in the body (which may be the reason for lots of muscular tension, headaches and the like), possibly leading up to disease and illness.
A lot of people simply use affirmations for the purposes of ‘positive thinking’. Well, if you want to benefit from affirmations, you have to deeply believe in the affirmation itself. In addition, since NLP allows you to control the effect of intensity in your submodalities, you should be able to increase the sensation associated with the submodalities. For instance, how about using your affirmations in a tone of voice that makes you feel really good? Perhaps you could even bring the image closer and make it a little brighter if that helps to amplify the feeling you have.
Affirmations in their original form are just statements. You simply “say” it (I’m feeling positive and full of energy). But if you said it in a strong place of belief, the effect is extremely different.
It’s also quite common for people to ignore the use of affirmations when they have a bad day. To me, it’s merely an indication that you haven’t readily ‘immunized’ yourself from negative experiences. In other words, the external triggers in your environment are still firing negative associations. You will need to learn how to use some strategies to get rid of that negative association, so that whenever you experience something negative, you could continue to affirm yourself and speak in a way that helps energize you rather than weaken you.
