Celebrate My Year 2007!
By Jacklyn | December 9, 2007
I love December. It marks the end of one year and I’m already looking forward to another whole new year of goals and dreams. December is always the month of giving, sharing and celebrations. Looking back at my ‘New Year Resolutions 2007’, I’m happy and proud to have achieved some, though not all, of my goals this year.
The most rewarding one is seeing my E.Excel network marketing organization growing bigger and stronger year after year. Well, it also means that more lives are being transformed to live their dreams which they never thought they could before! Growing my business with each and every business partner in my organization is one of the biggest inspirations I can have over the years. Thank you, Partners!
The second one that excites me most, may be it’s something new compared to all previous years, is picking up life coaching skills which I’m proud to have graduated from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner Course by Stuart Tan. I never know how powerful NLP skills were till I signed up Patterns of Excellence Program under Adam Khoo Learning Technologies Group (AKLTG). These are life skills that are so vital for personal and business success. Thanks to both my mentors Adam Khoo and Stuart Tan, and also not forgetting my coach Pete Tan!
One bonus reward which was not set in my 2007 goal list is Internet Marketing! I started off thinking it’s gonna be a big challenge for me as I’m not a computer savvy person. But now, I’m enjoying it! While blogging about inspiration and personal development, which I think it is a vital key to success, I’m growing to be a better person too. Learning can add so much fun into our life! Besides learning from other bloggers, one of my learning resource is from Success University, which I would strongly urge you to look into it too. In Success University, I’m learning from world top speakers and trainers like Zig Ziglar, Jay Abraham, Brian Tracy, Jim Rohn, Les Brown, etc… The journey of learning can be both very rewarding and fun at the same time..
The emotion I’m going through right now while typing this is overwhelming. May you share my joy and celebrations and I would love to read yours too. See you at the comment sharing page..
Hey, I should have tag some of my friends and favourite blogs so that more readers can share and enjoy your victory. Here it goes..

3 Steps to Time Management
By Jacklyn | November 22, 2007
What could be more stressful than not having enough time? The day comes and goes and you still didn’t get even half the things done that you had intended to get done. So how exactly do you manage this elusive thing called time? Actually, you don’t. Time can’t be managed. Time just is. (In fact, time is not what you think, but that’s for another article.) So the title of this article is a bit misleading, but it’s named as such because most people still believe it’s TIME they need to manage, when in truth it’s really ACTIVITIES that they must manage.
Step One
The first step is to sort out all the helpful, goal-oriented activities from the dead-end activities. And by the way, don’t list the activities you always do, like getting out of bed, eating breakfast, etc. Those you already know you’re going to do, and they are part of your routine. The activities I want you to concentrate on are the ones that are unquestionably linked to a big and spectacular goal. Read the rest of this entry »

Stephen Covey: Four Assumptions
By Jacklyn | November 15, 2007
Dr.Stephen Covey: The 8th Habit.
Dr.Stephen Covey defned The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People more than a decade ago. Now.. The 8th Habit is revealed! In this compelling short presentation, Dr.Covey pushes leaders to be not only effective but truly great.
Imagine how much our life can change if we live by these four assumptions. I’ve been living with the first assumption since Febuary 2002 due to a blood clot that formed in my heart artery triggering a heart attack..
Did I live everyday assuming its going to be my last day?
You bet!
Would I want to live my life to the fullest now?
Of course!
My preparation?
Leaving a legacy…
You don’t want to experience a real life heart attack (like me!) to live by this assumption, do you?
