Law of Attraction in the Thought World

By Jacklyn | May 23, 2009

THE Universe is governed by Law – one great Law. Its manifestations are multiform, but viewed from the Ultimate there is but one Law. We are familiar with some of its manifestations, but are almost totally ignorant of certain others. Still we are learning a little more every day – the veil is being gradually lifted.

We speak learnedly of the Law of Gravitation, but ignore that equally wonderful manifestation, THE LAW OF ATTRACTION IN THE THOUGHT WORLD. We are familiar with that wonderful manifestation of Law which draws and holds together the atoms of which matter is composed – we recognize the power of the law that attracts bodies to the earth, that holds the circling worlds in their places, but we close our eyes to the mighty law that draws to us the things we desire or fear, that makes or mars our lives.

When we come to see that Thought is a force – a manifestation of energy – having a magnet-like power of attraction, we will begin to understand the why and wherefore of many things that have heretofore seemed dark to us. There is no study that will so well repay the student for his time and trouble as the study of the workings of this mighty law of the world of Thought – the Law of Attraction.

Success, Joy, Happiness, Love...

When we think we send out vibrations of a fine ethereal substance, which are as real as the vibrations manifesting light, heat, electricity, magnetism. That these vibrations are not evident to our five senses is no proof that they do not exist. A powerful magnet will send out vibrations and exert a force sufficient to attract to itself a piece of steel weighing a hundred pounds, but we can neither see, taste, smell, hear nor feel the mighty force. These thought vibrations, likewise, cannot be seen, tasted, smelled, heard nor felt in the ordinary way; although it is true there are on record cases of persons peculiarly sensitive to psychic impressions who have perceived powerful thought-waves, and very many of us can testify that we have distinctly felt the thought vibrations of others, both whilst in the presence of the sender and at a distance. Telepathy and its kindred phenomena are not idle dreams.

Light and heat are manifested by vibrations of a far lower intensity than those of Thought, but the difference is solely in the rate of vibration. The annals of science throw an interesting light upon this question. Prof. Elisha Gray, an eminent scientist, says in his little book, “The Miracles of Nature”:

“There is much food for speculation in the thought that there exist soundwaves that no human ear can hear, and color-waves of light that no eye can see. The long, dark, soundless space between 40,000 and 400,000,000,000,000 vibrations per second, and the infinity of range beyond 700,000,000,000,000 vibrations per second, where light ceases, in the universe of motion, makes it possible to indulge in speculation.”

Another Memorable Birthday 29th April 2009

By Jacklyn | May 3, 2009

I always see my birthday as one of the most important day in my life. It is on this day, I took the first breath of life…

Since young, I look forward to every birthday (29th April). To what I can remember, I celebrated all my birthdays, either with family, with that special someone, friends or even just myself. I wonder do other people do this… I buy birthday present for myself every year! Presents ranging from soft toys to car and my present house (I mean signing the contract on that day).

Since year 2001, 29th April marks another special meaning to me. The person I loved most, my grandmother, whom I grew up with since I was 3 years old, left us… It took me a while to accept this hash fact, till I started to see it from another perspective that granny is now also celebrating her birthday on 29th April every year! It’s just that she rejoices in heaven and I have fun here on earth.

29th April 2009… Pictures speak louder than words, right? Here..

It started with this surprise… my favourite roses!

Lavender Roses

We had one of the most spread wonderful lunch at The Line, Shangri La Hotel, followed with a birthday cake! There… I made my birthday wish…. “Shiiii…. secret”

The last surprise of the day… a beautifully hand-made peacock from Excellence Network! Take a close look… it’s all made from our E.Excel products wrapper! It’s not just a birthday gift, not just a proud beautiful peacock… it’s a symbol of passion, teamwork, abundance and love…

Thank you everyone that has made my day so special. Your love, wishes, blessings, positive energy are deeply felt and they’re going to warm my heart and drive my soul to the next level I can be. I pray that God will bless all great friends that have sent their love and blessings to me through all media.. face to face, hugs, telephone calls, sms, msn, skype, emails, facebook and myspace. Loving the Most Important Person in Your Life

By Jacklyn | April 25, 2009

I’m sure that there are lots of things that you really love. You may love your parents, your husband/wife, your girl friend/boyfriend and your children. You may love your car, your home or even your new mobile phone. But let me ask you a question that may seem really weird, ‘do you love yourself?’ Do you love that person you see in the mirror every day? If you find that you have many things in life to be grateful for but are still not happy with, the reason may be because you have not learnt to love yourself.

In order to be HAPPY and SUCCESSFUL, you have to start by loving yourself. The reason why many people feel lousy about themselves and fail to achieve is because they don’t like who they are.

Many people think that they must first become successful before they start loving themselves and their life. In fact, the opposite is true. You must first love yourself before you can become successful. People who love and feel good about themselves have what is called HIGH SELF-ESTEEM.

The Most Important Person In Your Life Is…   Read the rest of this entry »

Contribution to Life Through Feed The Children Foundation

By Jacklyn | April 9, 2009

I wonder if you know the hardships and struggles that so many children are going through around the world right now. It’s a sad fact, but over 10,000 children die every single day due to starvation and preventable illnesses.

It made me think of my involvement with Success University, which is in partnership with Feed The Children that allows every student that signs up with Success University to be part of this contribution program. I am inspired to be in an organization with so many leaders committed to Success University’s vision of creating a positive shift in the world.

Every enrollment in Success University allows us to donate enough to feed a child for a week. In the past four years, our small contributions have been enough to feed tens of thousands of children. Today, your little contribution of US$2 can made a huge difference to these underprivileged children! On top of that, Success University is giving you worthy personal development resources for FREE as a way of saying “Thank You!”.

Accepting One Another – Dog, Cat and Rat

By Jacklyn | April 2, 2009

By nature, dogs, cats and mice are not known to be buddies. If only all the countries in the world could learn to live in harmony like this trio.

This is a video of a homeless man in Santa Barbara and his pets. They work State Street every week for donations. The animals are pretty well fed and are mellow. They are a family. The man who owns them rigged up a harness for his cat so she wouldn’t have to walk so much (like the dog and himself). At some juncture the rat came along, and as no one wanted to eat anyone else, the rat started riding with the cat and, often, on the cat! The dog, will stand all day and let you talk to him and admire him for a few chin scratches.

The Mayor of Santa Barbara filmed this clip and sent it out as a holiday card. A great video …..a MUST watch! Enjoy…
