Blind Kid Uses Echolocation to “See”

By Jacklyn | June 26, 2010

Ben Underwood (26th Jan 1992 – 19th Jan 2009)

To Ben Underwood, everything is possible. He lost his eyesight to cancer and was blind ever. Ben never allowed his handicap to stop him from living a normal life. He used ‘Echolocation’ to move his way around and we have to admit that he was a genius in that!

Ben succumbed to re-occurrence of cancer before his 17th birthday. He left a legacy of inspiration on what is possible when one start to believe in himself. He demonstrated how a person’s attitude can affect the quality of his life.

If you feel that life has been unfair to you with all the obstacles, problems, handicap, … ask yourself how people like Ben Underwood, Rick Hoyt, Helen Keller, Nick Vijicic live their life not only with joy but have contributed much value to other people. May God bless you…

By Jacklyn | June 7, 2010

Vernice Armour – The 1st African American Female Combat Pilot in the Military. She’s one of the most amazing, inspiring and powerful stories you will come across. I have the privilege to meet her personally during one of my trips to London in 2008. I was so attracted to her super contagious positive energy!

Multiple Streams of Inspiration Vol.2

Watch this short clip and you may want to read her story from the book ‘Multiple Streams of Inspiration Vol.2‘, which I was honored to be one of the contributing author too…

International Networking Week ~ 01 – 05 Feb 2010

By Jacklyn | February 3, 2010

International Networking Week is initiated by BNI (Business Network International). BNI is celebrating it with a Big Breakfast Meeting this Friday 5th Feb at Suntec City. I’m anticipating the event with excitement. After experiencing a huge turnout of 43 visitors last Friday at our Excellence Chapter, I’ve witnessed the power of networking and the effectiveness of word-of-mouth marketing!

Dr. Ivan Misner, the founder of BNI, has created this video that share about International Networking Week. He shared a story which I can relate to so much because I was trained for competition during my school days. That’s exactly the same complain I’m so familiar with, but ultimately… the glory that money cannot buy. I believe that until today, this same basic principle will apply if we want to be successful.

Thank you Dr. Ivan Misner for the reminder! A worth watching video…

A Tribute to Jim Rohn

By Jacklyn | December 6, 2009

Jim RohnOn 5th December 2009, a great teacher and mentor to millions globally, Jim Rohn, has passed on. For more than a year, he fought bravely with Pulmonary Fibrosis. Jim Rohn inspired and empowered millions of lives through his life’s philosophies. His contribution to the personal development industry has definitely impacted many people’s life positively.

I emphasize greatly on a person’s personal development, and I’m grateful to Jim Rohn’s teachings throughout these years. Personally, I share many of his teachings through his seminars, books, cds and dvds to my team. Some of my favourites are “The Art of Exceptional Living”, “The Weekend Event – Excelling in the New Millennium”, “Seasons of Life”, “12 Pillars of Success”, “Building your Network Marketing Business”, ….

He inspired me to live a life with great purpose and his teachings gave me insights into life’s meaning. I aspire to live like him… even when he’s gone today, his legacy will remain forever..

A tribute video was recorded earlier this year. You can read more about Jim Rohn and watch the tribute video @ http://JimRohn.com

I wish for you a life of wealth, health and happiness; a life in which you give to yourself the gift of patience, the virtue of reason, the value of knowledge, and the influence of faith in your own ability ot dream about and achieve worthy rewards.” ~ Jim Rohn
